The Camden Crawl falls on the early May (first Monday in May) Bank Holiday weekend.
Camden Crawl Festival is a popular music festival held every spring in London, England. The event is renowned for being the sort of launching pad for the hottest acts in the United Kingdom.
The event was first held during the height of Britpop, in the days of the 1990s girl bands and boy band, when it introduced some of the most promising musical acts as well as the biggest stars back then. It was then staged in five venues, with around 20 artists performing.
Ten years after its successful first run, Camden Crawl was relaunched as a platform to exhibit the talents of emerging artists. It also features surprise guesting of current music phenomenon plus legends to the delight of lovers of music and other performing media.
With its revamped format, the festival is becoming known as the festival which fosters a spirit of community between artists, fans, new promoters, and others in the music industry. Its most recent now showcases performances from about 250 artists in more than 50 stages.
