Global Gathering is a music festival that music lovers from Belarus, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom celebrate altogether annually. It is held annually on the last weekend of July. Its stage leans towards performing artists from the electronic genre, and hosts acts from all over the world.
First staged in in 2001, and had since been known as one of UK's premier dance music festival, Global Gathering came to be in response to the demand during the Angel Music Group Code's opening. It served the purpose of bringing dance music from out of the clubs into traditional outdoor music festivals.
The festival provides entertainment from a range of electronic music genres. It also features live performances, along with canned house, trance and dubstep. The event has grown to play host to over a hundred acts on sixteen stages, and has twice won the awards for Best UK Festival in the DJ magazine awards, including 2010.
GlobalGathering locations are at Borovaya Airfield at Kyiv, Ukraine, Hangang Park, Nanji at Seoul, South Korea, Long Marston Airfield, Stratford-upon-Avon at England, Tor Poznan, at Poznan, Poland, and Tuutary Park at Saint Petersburg, Russia. Each of these venues attracts tens of thousands of visitors.
