T in the Park is one of the biggest Scottish music festival today, spanning three consecutive days starting 2007. In recent years, attendance reaches about 85,000 individuals enjoying the show.
The Scots had been attending this annual event since 1994. Named after the brewing company Tennents, its main sponsor, T in the Park was originally held at Strathclyde Park. In 1997, however, it was moved to a decommissioned airfield in Balado, near Kinross in Perth and Kinoss, which had served as its home since.
There are the main seven stages of music, various concession stalls and shops, as well as other attractions like a large funfair, complete with Big Wheel. Apart from the music and performances, guests who attend the T in the Park festival also enjoy the the outdoors adventure of camping in the Scottish venue. There are large camping areas catering to the majority of festival-goers who stay for the duration of the event.
